The newly elected officers of the ALBG presided over the organization's
January business meeting as well as a special February meeting.
Plans are still being developed for the upcoming move to our new
offsite headquarters. It is hoped the Borough Council will rule
on a zoning change for the proposed headquarters and the 3rd Ward Black
History Museum. If not, a committee is working on an alternative
location.
The new Visitor center will open on 14 April and we will be given a
tour of the facility on 2 April during our spring park guie meeting. |
